I think this is my most successful image. I say this because I find it very appealing out of all my photos I took. My use of light and framing helped this photo stand out. The effect of seeing things from above can give you new perspectives on things such as the textures and vastness of the Earth and the fluffiness of clouds. One thing I wished I noticed while taking this picture is you can slightly see a reflection from the mirror. While it's minor and doesn't effect this photo, I think that is something I need to watch for in the future.
I think the most challenging part of this assignment was figuring out how to interpret photos. While I know images can sometimes fall in more than 1 category sometimes my mind has a struggle figuring it out. I remember countless times thinking of ideas and finding photos I often would go back and forth trying to fit a photo into one of the categories.
What I think I can do in the future to create stronger images is to use light and shadows in photos better. I think the photo of my cat had too much shadow and I feel like if I had a bit more natural light it could have pop out a bit more. As I said above about the slight reflection in my best image, I also need to be more aware of my surroundings.

Hi Kimberly! This photo is beautiful. I really like what you captured in this picture. The lighting and all of the colors flow so nicely together. I like how it goes from a very bright blue sky at the top to a darker green land at the bottom. It's a great photo, good job!

Hi Kimberly, I really enjoy your photograph. I am particularly drawn to landscape and nature images in general but this one has a unique quality, which is the fog. I am used to seeing majority of nature landscapes as clear and colorful, but the fog dulls your photograph, giving it almost a calming essence as the colors are more muted. The only area with colors not affected by the fog is the beautiful blue sky, which doesn't interrupt the calming nature as blue is a cool calm color. Great job!

Hi Evia Mascaro! I really like this photo as well! I think choosing to do this from a high perspective was a really great choice. That and the colors in this photo really help draw me in as well. I can tell that the focus of this was the croissant sandwich but having the drinks to the side helped add to it. The lighting also helps portray a certain mood in this photo. It gives me calm vibes and I think that is due to you using diffused lighting mixed in with your subject. I really don't know what you could add to make this more appealing but I could suggest maybe using the Rule of odds…
