Emulating a Profesional Photographer

I found this class when looking for classes that would meet my major requirements. I decided to take it because it looked engaging and I was excited to expand my knowledge of photography, my photo-taking skills, and apply my new skills in real-time. I would say I have accomplished this. My greatest takeout away from this class was using shadows and lighting to my advantage when taking photos. Those 2 things can have a huge effect on the final product and can change the overall mood of a photo. I noticed I tend to take photos that are aesthetically evaluative but I want to lean more into categories I take weaker photos in. I plan to practice and hone my skills even after the semester ends because not only is it a good skill to have, but I find I can also express myself in another form other than music.
